GOT PHOTO QUESTIONS? Here are the answers to a few of the questions you might be wondering about my services and Dallas based photography business.
Q. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER & WHY DID YOU BECOME A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
A.I have worked as a professional photographer for six years. After graduating from NYU, I attended the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies where I studied Documentary Photography. While living in NYC, I worked in the photo industry on various assignments, everything from fashion shoots in town to a concert in Nigeria—but I always found my way back to weddings. I’m a romantic and I love working with couples whose love and respect for each other is undeniable.
Q. WE LOVE YOUR SERVICES, AND YOUR PORTFOLIO. EVERYTHING SOUNDS FANTASTIC… SO CAN YOU TELL US WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM ALL THE OTHER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS OUT THERE?
A. Everything about your wedding day is important to me, from the guests you have invited to share the day with you, to the shoes you choose to meet your new spouse for the first time. My unique documentary style aims to showcase not just these details of your day, but also the emotions displayed along the way. I capture the laughter, the tears, and the hugs as your day naturally unfolds.
Q. THIS ALL SOUNDS WONDERFUL, BUT IT ALSO SEEMS EXPENSIVE. CAN WE AFFORD PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY?
A. There is no denying that wedding photography can be expensive, but you are making an investment into memories that will last for generations. Over time our memories fade, and the facts in oral stories can become twisted. (Like the game “Telephone” we played as kids.) With all the time and money you invest in making your day special, photography will allow you to remember the details, emotions and moments exactly as they happened. You will use your photographs to tell the story of your wedding day to the friends and family who could not attend, and over the years to your children, and eventually, your grandchildren.
Q. WILL YOU HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER?
A. I bring an assistant with me to each of my weddings. There is an additional fee to book a second shooter. My second shooters are also professional photographers, and provide greater flexibility to document all aspects of the day. When I am with the bride and her girls getting ready, my second shooter is with the groom and his guys. As I am capturing portraits after the ceremony, my second shooter can get detail shots of your reception venue space. I specifically choose shooters whose own style of and approach toward photography compliments mine, which can provide you an even more comprehensive set of images.
Q. HOW MANY FINAL IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
A. This varies. Weddings will be determined by length of photography coverage time, cooperation of individuals involved and events that occur during the day.
Q. HOW WILL YOU DELIVER MY IMAGES & HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE THEM?
A. Image delivery varies by job. The couple’s delivery preferences will be discussed before signing an agreement, and the chosen methods (web link, USB drive, CD, etc) will be reflected in the final contract. Generally, images will be delivered in 4-6 weeks after the wedding.
Q. DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS & PRINTS?
A. Yes! Following the delivery of your images, I set up online printing services so you may print images at your leisure. I also offer albums to be custom ordered or included in your wedding photography package. We can chat more about these options at your consultation.
Q. WHAT IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO BOOK YOU?
A. To confirm your wedding date, you will be required to pay a non-refundable reservation fee of 25 percent. I ask for a 50 percent reservation fee to hold a portrait session date. I accept credit cards and can also set up payment plans. My clients who book me early have an advantage because their payments are spread out over a longer period of time.
Q. THIS SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE WHAT WE WANT. HOW DO WE START THE PROCESS?
A. Feel free to fill out my contact form or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up your complimentary consultation. I want to hear all about your photography needs, your wedding day you have planned—the consultation is a good time to find out if we are a good match to work together.
