Carey & Matt's Downtown Los Angeles Wedding

Incorporating Chinese cultural heritage in their downtown Los Angeles wedding.

Carey & Matt affectionately nicknamed their downtown Los Angeles multicultural wedding as their "non-wedding." They brought together all of their family and friends from across the country to celebrate their marriage. You might be thinking, "what is a non-wedding?"

Well, my friends, for Carey & Matt it consisted of celebrating with all of their community under one roof, a warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles. THREE outfits for Carey, and one where she was finishing up & sewing on the final details of just minutes before heading out. The most unique decor we've ever seen with greenery and plants floating from the ceiling, and custom neon signs, including one of their last name-blend nickname, and another over the bar that came after my Beehive heart that read "drunk in love." Bringing in elements of Carey's Chinese cultural background including a tea ceremony and a wedding lion dance. And it was all wrapped up with one EPIC dance party for their downtown Los Angeles wedding.
